EFNEP Impact

Does EFNEP make a difference? Yes! Diet recalls, taken at entry into and exit from the program, demonstrate that over 90% of program graduates make a positive improvement in food choices. Along with dietary improvements, clients report spending less dollars on food.

EFNEP's Eating for a Better Start program helps pregnant teens make nutritious food choices and have healthier babies. Click here for more information.

EFNEP's SuperCupboards program helps frequent users of emergency food services break the cycle of dependency and move toward self-reliance. Click here for more information.

Additional details on EFNEP's impacts can be found in the EFNEP Fact Sheet 2006 (Adobe Acrobat format).
