Does EFNEP make a difference? Yes! Diet recalls, taken at entry into and exit from the program, demonstrate that over 90% of program graduates make a positive improvement in food choices. Along with dietary improvements, clients report spending less dollars on food. EFNEP's Eating for a Better Start program helps pregnant teens make nutritious food choices and have healthier babies.
